I'm a family photographer and mom of four, so I know how much work can go into getting one good picture of everyone.

I make my own family take pictures every year. I want the one where everyone is looking and smiling, because that almost never happens in normal life, but I love the cuddly ones just as much. And I always make sure I'm in some of them, too.

I love having those pictures around our house. Seeing how little my kids were, what their faces looked like at different ages, and having proof that I was there for all of it too.

That's really why I do this for other families.

During sessions, I'm pretty chatty. I'll talk to your kids, be silly when it works, and change my approach depending on who's in front of me. A four-year-old and a twelve-year-old need very different things.

I'll tell you where to stand and what to do, and if something isn't working, we'll try something else. You don't need to manage the session from the other side of my camera.

I want you to leave feeling like, okay, we definitely got something good.

And outside of photography? Give me chocolate, a trip somewhere, a good book, my HydroJug and another rewatch of Parks and Rec, The Office or New Girl. I also love singing and can lose an embarrassing amount of time watching old family videos.
